(101031) Ferret Fun Day - Sunday 31 October 2010 WHEN? 2pm, Sunday 31 October 2010 WHERE? Majura Community Centre Hall, 2 Rosevear Place, DICKSON WHAT'S HAPPENING? There will be GAMES, great RAFFLE PRIZES up for grabs, we will be selling off all stock from our Weasel Wares Shop so come along & grab a bargain. The hall will be ferret-proof so the ferrets can run amuck while you enjoy a tea or coffee. Nail clipping will be available for a gold coin donation. Although the newsletter & events have been on hold for 12 months, we have continued to take in rescue ferrets during that time so our bank balance is suffering. Over the past 12 months we have spent over $700 on rescue ferrets, including desexing, vaccinations and other vet bills (which grow very quickly when a rescue ferret develops an illness). Some of this we have recuperated from adoption costs, but this only covers a small portion of the overall cost.
